JCB Fastrac 5/6th gear repairs

Common problem on fastracs, 5th gear starts to go, ie you start to get grinding when selecting gear and / or a lot of travel in the gearstick until one day 5th gear is not there any more!

We will remove the fastrac transmission, strip out 6 speed box, replace 5/6th gear selector fork, sliding sleve and syncro's. Check over all bearings, syncro's, gears, selectors and make a report if any thing else needs doing. Refit all parts

If there is additional work to be carried as in clutch packs overhaul, or bearings or range box repairs this will be extra. But once we are in the box then this is the time to go through the rest of it!
